The 300 members of Zion Church compose a self-governing congregation in covenant with the United Church of Christ and its partner and mutually recognizing churches. All members are entitled to voice and vote in all decisions related to the local congregation, including call to ministries and property issues.

Members expect of each other attendance in worship, prayer for the congregation and mutual concerns, tangible support for local and wider church programs, participation in the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, and efforts to live as disciples of Christ.
Welcome to All!
Membership is open to all, as Zion's Mission Statement says: "We welcome and encourage all to join in this mission." All means what is says-- including people of any gender, race, ethnic group, color, national origin, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, citizenship, ability or age. We receive this diversity as a gift of God, shown to us in Jesus' openness to all people. The Consistory (twelve elected members and the Pastor) affirms this principle for all membership applicants and all leaders of the congregation.
